He attained his Masters Degree in Yogic science and Human consciousness from DSVV, Haridwar, in the year 2003. Later, he worked in several organizations for over 12-13 years like Ananda In The Himalayas, Taj Hotels and also in ‘Mauritius’. He has also had 6 precious years of imparting yoga lessons as a senior Yoga Instructor in Chiva-Som International Health Resort In Hua Hin, Thailand. Chiva-som offers a holistic experience in health and wellness and is a luxury resort in Thailand. It is Asia’s first health resort.
In his tenure, he has worked with people of different nationalities. He has also been associated with Olympic players, World Champions, Hollywood as well as Bollywood celebrities. The one thing that has built a strong bond among him and his students, has been the belief in Yoga.
Inclusive teaching methodology
Yoga begins with your belief in the strengths of your body. How will you believe if you don’t learn to love yourself the first value that Sandeep learned to imbibe was to be inclusive. It is very important to learn to love your body and accept your body type, strength, age and capabilities. Whenever he begins to impart lessons to a new batch of people, he does it by helping people to accept their diversity.
Yoga is not a one-size-fits-all solution. It is a way of life and that way is subjective. Every body has a type and needs a different program to respond to any form of exercise. His goal is to help people across all ages, races, body sizes, gender and capabilities to be able to take up Yoga. He wants everyone to feel comfortable in their own skin because the change will never begin until you loosen yourself.
This is essentially why he plans personalized training programs for those who do not want to fit into a certain type.
His Areas Of Specialization
He essentially believes that Yoga, when performed correctly, can lead to mental, physical and spiritual healing. Performing the postures correctly is, thus, the only condition. There is a myth that Yoga does not have any side-effects. The wrong postures can leave you in a state even worse than what you were in, to begin with. Thus, it is imperative that you perform Yoga under the guidance of a certified and experienced Yoga instructor. It is not important which posture you do but how you do it.
His area of specialization is spinal injury. Having been a victim of this painful problem, he wanted to help people recover the same way he did. There was a time when all forms of treatment had given up hope on his condition. They had a belief that his spine was in no condition to recover without surgical intervention. However, his belief in his body and the spiritual healing of Yoga persisted. Today, he vouches for yoga and the second chances that it offers. His belief in Yoga has led him to share its benefits with the world around and he have not left a single stone unturned to go into a deeper understanding of Yoga.
His core strengths are teaching correction, alignment and adjustment. By alignment, he means performing the yoga postures in a way so as to maximize the benefits with it. This helps you to avoid injuries while performing complicated forms.

A lot of people ask him what would his favourite forms of Yoga be. He will tell you that It is almost like choosing your favourite child among all your children. He believes in all forms of Yoga but the two forms that he highly recommends are Hatha Yoga , Iyanger Yoga and Kundalini Yoga.
In all the forms, there is a common emphasis on spiritual healing and that happens to be his primary motive. He wishes to use the forms of Yoga to heal an individual from inside out so that the end result is an active body with a peaceful mind.
